- June 16, 2026

We are pleased to share that our institute’s Principal Investigator, Professor Benjamin Tee, has been shortlisted for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)’s A F Harvey Engineering Research Prize.
The A F Harvey Prize is the IET’s annual research award of £500,000, granted to outstanding researchers working in radar and microwave, lasers and optoelectronics, or medical engineering.
At NUS iHealthtech, Professor Tee’s research on flexible and stretchable electronic sensors brings together materials science, mechanics, electronics, and artificial intelligence. His work has helped shape new possibilities for healthcare and robotics.
Being shortlisted as one of only five candidates is a remarkable achievement. We wish Prof Tee all the best.
