Celebrating iHealthtech Scientists Among the World’s Top 2%

Congratulations to seven iHealthtech scientists who have been included in the newly released World’s Top 2% Scientists database:

The Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List 2026 database looks beyond publication numbers alone. Its composite citation indicator considers measures including citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted impact, and citations to papers according to authorship position. It provides both career-long and single-year perspectives of scientific impact.
But perhaps there is a broader story behind such recognition.
Science today is rarely advanced in isolation
While excellence and sustained contributions at the frontier of one’s field remain fundamental, impactful research increasingly brings together different expertise, perspectives and disciplines. Building meaningful collaborations and contributing knowledge to the wider scientific community help ideas travel further and, more importantly, help research tackle problems that no single discipline can solve alone.
This resonates strongly with iHealthtech, where scientists, engineers and clinicians work across disciplinary boundaries with a shared mission of advancing health through innovation.
