The Best Team Meeting We Never Scheduled

A simple suggestion from our Director, Prof Lim, sparked a team day at Universal Studios Singapore. But as with any good idea, what mattered was thoughtful execution.
Our core team planned the day with intention—not to slow things down, but to ensure it served a clear purpose: creating space for genuine human connection.
The outcome exceeded expectations. Our PIs let loose, had fun, and—most importantly—shared conversations that built bridges between the core team and leadership in ways that years of meetings never could.
It was a timely reminder that staff wellbeing activities are more than just time away from work. They help grow friendship and trust. And at iHealthtech, a connected team is a stronger team—better equipped to support patients and drive our mission forward.
Because sometimes, the best work happens when we’re not “working.”
