iHealthtech Director Awarded Otto Schmitt Award at IUPESM World Congress 2025
iHealthtech Director, Prof Lim Chwee Teck, has been conferred the Otto Schmitt Award at the IUPESM World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering 2025 – Adelaide. This triennial award, was presented by the IFMBE – International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering, the world’s largest federation of national and transnational societies in biomedical engineering. It honours an exceptional individual for innovation, leadership, and seminal contributions to medical and biological engineering. Prof Lim had previously received the Vladimir Zworykin Award from IFMBE in the same Congress in Toronto in 2015.
This achievements shows Singapore’s excellence and leadership in biomedical engineering on the global stage. Congratulations to Prof Lim for his remarkable achievements and contributions!
