Workplace injury due to slips and trips can amount to over a million cases globally, and many of these incidents are not reported as there is no effective and systematic way to track them. iHealthtech Director Prof Lim Chwee Teck and FlexoSense, a startup he cofounded, have collaborated with the Workplace Safety and Health Institute and the Association of Singapore Marine Industries Maritime Industries to tackle the challenge by developing a smart insole for workers.
