Magnetic nano-electro-injection (MagNEI) is a new method to transfect T cells for cancer immunotherapy. To increase the efficiency for cell transfection and preserve critical biological functionalities, Dr Andy Tay, Assistant Prof and Principal Investigator from iHealthtech, has engineered chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) to facilitate the delivery of DNA into the T cells. His oral presentation “High-aspect Ratio Nanostructures for Efficient, Minimally Perturbative and Transgene-free Immuno-transfection” at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Scientific Congress 2021 was received as the Best Oral Presentation!
