Shoring Singapore’s STEM workforce

STEM workforce is the main thrust for Singapore to remain competitive and relevant in advancing disruptive #technology globally. For example, during this trying time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the scientific and clinical communities utilise the latest technology to quickly identify the infectious virus and track the spread of infection. Then, with the support of a global STEM network, the #STEM community works towards solutions rapidly to fend off the threat from the virus. In the following article, iHealthtech Principal Investigator Dr Andy Kah Ping Tay offers insights into shoring Singapore’s younger generation to join the STEM workforce on the nation’s future quests to guard their homeland against another virus threat and develop technology for the good of society.
