Today, our institute celebrates a remarkable milestone—not just for iHealthtech, but for NUS and Singapore as a whole!

Our Director, Prof Lim Chwee Teck, has been elected as an International Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng), following his election to the Royal Society in 2024.

He is the first and only Singaporean to be elected to both of the UK’s most prestigious academies—a historic achievement that highlights his pioneering contributions to interdisciplinary research, science, and engineering innovation.

Prof Lim shared:
“This recognition is not just my personal achievement, but also a reflection of the hard work and creativity of my amazing team of past and present lab members, as well as the many outstanding collaborators whom I have the privilege to work with. I am also grateful to the Academy for this profound honour, and will remain committed to using engineering to create real-world impact.”

Guided by Prof Lim’s visionary leadership, iHealthtech is committed to advancing health innovation—transforming the future of healthcare with compassion and cutting-edge healthtech.

Heartiest congratulations to Prof Lim for these remarkable achievements in science and engineering!
