In this workshop NUS BIGHEART (Biomedical Institute for Global Health Research and Technology) and NUS Department of Biomedical Engineering will come together with KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), to introduce their most recent research. The Department of Bio and Brain Engineering at KAIST is developing a global alliance network in biomedical engineering to promote international collaboration for education and research. This joint workshop is part of this initiative as well as the KAIST Bio-IT Healthcare Initiative supported by KAIST College of Engineering. This workshop will initiate a collaboration network between NUS and KAIST in biomedical engineering for research collaboration, student exchange, faculty exchange and lecture exchange.
