Are you searching for an effective therapy for knee osteoarthritis or looking for ways to relieve your pain?

Using a non-invasive magnetic therapy developed by iHealthtech Principal Investigator Professor Alfredo Franco-Obregón, there is new hope for improving health for frail elderly individuals.

A recent clinical trial involving 60 patients with end-stage knee osteoarthritis, conducted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Prince of Wales Hospital, has provided strong scientific evidence supporting the effectiveness of his magnetic stimulation technology for enhancing muscle health. Using Professor Franco-Obregón’s proprietary device, patients performed a series of exercises and completed two 10-minute sessions on the machine. The results showed significant improvements in knee muscle strength and a reduction in pain compared to a control group.

This magnetic stimulation device, known as BIXEPS, is offered by QuantumTX Pte Ltd, a company co-founded by Professor Franco-Obregon. Therapy services are now available for seniors at 30 care centers across Singapore, which have access to the BIXEPS machine.
