Developing a PCR Test That Can Yield Results in an Hour

iHealthtech Director Prof Lim Chwee Teck is one of the six scientists featured on the media coverage of The Straits Times today for his Covid-19 related work in Singapore. He and his research team have developed a faster and portable PCR system called Epidax that can be used for rapid screening and mass testing in places such as clinics, schools and offices. The team has filed a patent for Epidax and licensed the technology to a local medical technology company.
