BIGHEART principal investigators Asst Profs Toh Yi-Chin, Catherine Ong and Shao Huilin have been featured on a NUS News article about their research achievements, the importance of interdisciplinary approach to biomedical research, the unique challenges that women researchers face and how female mentors can encourage more women to enter careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) research.
